Engagement Story

This isnt any fairy tale but here she goes anyway

Once upon a time in a land far away (Wisconsin) there lived a boy (Milton)

who had no hope in the world. Until... one cool December morning a beautiful girls parents decide to be welcoming and invite the boy over to a warm Christmas meal. The boy instantly lays eyes on this beautiful girl (Janelle)

and the tongue rolls out a red carpet across the table as his jaw hits the floor. For this young lady had on a steaming red hot top. Long hair with the most beautiful blue eyes this boy had ever seen. Curves that would well deep down inside this little boy there was a fire started that has never been extinguished. A month later these two meet up again at a magical mountain (Big Bear)

love continues to fan the flames of these two twiterpated love birds and they start on their journey as a couple. Sad tragedy hits as three weeks later Love is tested through the torturous distance as the young boy goes home to his land far away. After 21 days of agony the two are reunited for a week of fiery passion (Lots of Kissing) only to find out he has to leave again. This time the distance isnt so great and the time is only days. Hunting for a trophy the boy leaves to represent his emperor (The Marine Corps) in a match of the year.

During this month of hunting the boy occasionally would show up at the girls doorstep unannounced and the girls heart would After the month of hunting he comes back empty handed and out on his luck. But as soon as he sees the beautiful lady all sadness is swept from his body and it is replaced with more passion than he could ever imagine. The two were placed in a position as a leader of kinsmen and spent 4 days on a mission to save the lost. (LA missions trip) Upon return the boy knew what he had to do, so he called the ladys father and asked him to go out to lunch. (Can you guess what happened there?) well the father said he could have his daughters hand in marriage as long as he would always love his daughter, which in the boys mind wasnt even a question how could he not as he envisioned the most tenderhearted, caring, elegant, girl ever.

And that he would continue to grow spiritually which of course is an everyday thing in the boys mind. At that the boy started his serenade. He had met her whole family already and well she didnt know anybody from his family besides talking on a phone but what are those, this is a fairy tale. So the boy said to her he would not ask her until she meets his family. After three long weeks of a never ending school the boy finally gets her on his magic carpet (A Plane) home. From the start, the family fell in love with her wonderful charm.

Set ups occurred nightly as the two would take walks in the moonlight though the woods and fields. After a couple days the angelic girl started getting scared that the boy would never ask and he could see it in her eyes. Finally he had to tell her that the ring had not arrived yet (custom rings take a while) well her heart was put at rest and the boy patiently waited.

Days before the magic carpet had to take them back the boy got too restless and couldnt wait. On a trip to the local town market (Wal-Mart) the boy found a replacement that would just have to do for the time being. That evening they arrived home and the girl wanted to watch a puppet show (TV-CSI) and well it wasnt on :) so the boy once again said lets go for a walk. So out the door they went and to the horse drawn wagon (station wagon with 150 ponies inside) down the dirt path to a magical forest with a glistening river running though it (Haymans Falls Park)

well in the forest the boys heart was pounding a million miles a minute and he was scared to death that the boogey man would jump out and eat him alive he wasnt sure if the fairies were around to protect him and his ravishing girl. Upon reaching the glistening river under the moonlit sky a million stars lighting the way he found a rock that was in the middle of a river and big enough to sit on (both of them).

They talked about life and the stars

and finally the boy pulled a card out of his pocket. Being that it was too dark to read pulled out a glow stick (flashlight) and asked her to open it. The card read well it was a bunch of mushy stuff that said he wanted to be with her the rest of his life and how much he loved her.

But in order for her to read that the glow stick had to be turned on and well theres a natural response for bugs its called go towards the light. (Not a good thing if youre this girl) After reading the card 1 and a half times the boy got smart. Out of his back pocket pulled 6 candles saying this will help keep the bugs away as he lit each one and placed them around the rock.

(It worked the bugs stayed away) well. The girl wanted to read the card again and so on went the glow stick again and she got through it reading every word carefully. The boy saying well with all that said would you please stand up.

Got on one knee and asked, Janelle Marie Sammons will you marry me?

Through the fighting back of tears she nodded yes and he stood up and gave her a kiss and a hug as she cried on his shoulder.

They talked a little more and called it a night. Found their horse drawn wagon and made their way back home.

Upon arrival to their house they proceeded up the stairs to the parents room knocked and entered the boy went and jumped in between mom and dad and had a smile from ear to ear on as the girl stood back and the boy proceed with well were engaged!

Mom and Dad smiled and gave their boy a kiss and hug and out the room he went with his wonderful girl. The girl then had to tell everybody so she got on her phone and called her parents first. They told her congrats and they are happy for her... and thats the end of the story for now until later July 29th the day of the wedding...
